I  Solisti Veneti, conducted by Claudio Scimone, are the most popular chamber orchestra in Italy and abroad. During the last fifty years, they have exported Veneto and Venetian music in the whole world, having performed 5000 concerts in more than 80 countries and having taken part in the main international festivals. Furthermore, their discographical production is impressive, comprising more than 350 titles for the most important record companies in the world.
Ever since, the name of I Solisti Veneti is linked to Claudio Scimone, founder of the orchestra in 1959. In their career, the Solisti Veneti have performed in the most important music shrines - from La Fenice Theatre in Venice to New York's Theatre - and with the most famous names of classical music - from Salvatore Accardo to Uto Ughi, from Itzhak Perlman to Sergei Nakariakov - and of lyric - such as Cecilia Gasdia.
