Tango ensemble Sexteto Mayor (Argentinа)
They have played for Julio Cortázar, Yves Montand and Paloma Picasso, appeared on Broadway and in 2003 they were the first Argentinean group to win a Latin Grammy. In their home country they were awarded the prestigious Premio Konex and in 1995 they even received the Premio Konex de Platino, together with a whole series of Premios Carlos Gardel, the highest award for tango musicians. Every year they spend ten to twelve months on tour around the world. With such hard work and success they have earned the right to titles such as the “greatest sextet” or the “main sextet”.
