Saying good-bye to the festival, the famous soloists make you musical presents…
Inessa Galante (soprano) sings her favourite arias and duos from Verdi’s La forza del destino, Tchaikovsky’s Queen of Spades, Puccini’s Manon Lescaut, from Catalani’s and Gershwin’s operas;
Lilia Larina (soprano) performs the fragments from Verdi’s Otello and Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi;
Irina Dolzhenko (mezzo soprano) gives you a chance to enjoy the masterpieces of Tchaikovsky (The Maid of Orleans) and Cilea (Adriana Lecouvreur);
Sergej Larin (tenor) sings the duos with divas from Bizet’s Carmen, Verdi’s Otello, Puccini’s Manon Lescaut as well as arias from Offenbach’s Les contes d’Hoffmann and Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin;
Egils Silins (bass) is on stage as Gerswin’s Porgy and Rachmaninov’s Aleko;
Vadim Gluzman (violin) plays Ravel’s Tzigane and Mozart’s Rondeau;
Muza Rubackyte (piano) interprets Mozart’s Piano concerto No 23;
Latvian National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Aleksandrs Vilumanis performs orchestral pieces by Wagner, Mussorgsky and Schostakovich.
